The triggers for
World War 3
(2018-2024)
The origins of the devastating war known as the Eurasian/Arctic Conflict (commonly known as World War III) are complicated and still debated upon endlessly. No war or international conflict has ever been initiated by a single event. War can be seen as the bubbling cascade of hot broth spilling from the humanity stewpot left at high heat. Pressure can only build so much.
SUMMARY
In 2018, the Western World was on the brink of complete social collapse after a decade-long economic depression, several failed coups and breakdown of corporate-governed order all over. Adding to these issues were multiple famines in Ireland, the Great Plains of the United States, and Mexico, due to the massive carbon emissions sent into the atmosphere during intense warfare. Over the course of 2018, the U.S. Dollar lost ninety-eight percent of its value due to countries no longer agreeing to buy and sell oil exclusively American currency, defining the end of the great modern empire. And then, a long-planned, often theorized and feared war would finally unfold to threaten every creature on the planet.

Most researchers will give the official date as February 1st, 2018, when Russia’s leaders initiated a swift and effective military takeover of Ukraine and Crimea, claiming that “the old empire would soon be united”. The takeover ended the Russo-Ukrainian War that began in 2008, escalated in 2014 due to direct United States involvement in the overthrow of the former Ukrainian regime.
Due to a naturally-occurring foodborne bacterium attracted to the vast but fragile grain and corn reserves of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military was strapped for combatants as fifty percent of the country suffered serious gastrointestinal issues of the mysterious illness that resembled a super strain of e. coli. The strain showed signs of continuous evolution, spontaneous growth that could possibly becoming airborne and spread to food supplies in the already-suffering Western Hemisphere.
10,000 people were killed in the week-long invasion through military casualties or the illness that became known as the Blue Death (due to the quick cyanosis that began in people who succumbed) and the world soon grew tense as NATO failed to properly assist Ukraine. Russia began pushing further into Ukraine and when a barrage of long-range missiles went off-course due to a systems error, the missiles flew into a bus station that killed eighteen people in Poland. On NATO territory.
The world’s nations debated on further actions for three breathless days, the world waiting. Before official considerations were to be announced, Russian military forces were seen deploying mobile nuclear weapons launch sites as a deterrent. One hour later, North Korea announced their intention to do the same. Then Iran. And India. And China. And finally America. The world was at war. February 9th, 2018…
In March of 2018, the W.H.O. (World Health Organization), was under extreme pressure to develop a cure for the food-wasting bacteria now eating through the Eastern Hemisphere’s supply of crops— which fed eighty percent of the planet’s population. The bacteria’s spread was dubbed the Locust Plague unofficially because its vicious approach to destroy afflicted crops and nest on flecks of plant matter, able to travel great distances across Ukraine, Belarus, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary. Eastern Europe is crippled.

Between 2012 and 2018, as international tensions flared, the southern states of America were in a heated dispute over police actions being conducted on the drug cartels of Mexico and Central America, after an increased interest in police brutality against marginalized peoples. Questions of police tyranny, racism, and gun ownership flared across the southern states with most of the reports being washed out of the news cycle due to the incoming world war. Militia groups formed in secret. Equality activists groups began arming themselves in areas of decreased police presence as funding moved to bigger cities (populations over one million). When the governor of Texas announced that “[the cartels] are terrorists, plain and simple", America splintered into a political left vs. right mentality unrivaled.
Between 2005 and 2018, around fifty million immigrants (mainly from Central America and the Middle East) lived in the United States, half of them undocumented. The country continued to ramp up in intensity, as major news media corporations pursued the racial divide narrative that had poisoned America politics and citizen morale. While politicians ran virtue-signaling non-profit campaigns for race equality and “rallied across party lines” to enact dozens of new laws around subjective moral authority and assumptions of character based on statistical analyses, those same politicians sent billions of taxpayer dollars to fund NATO’s efforts in the Eastern Hemisphere. The result was, unplanned of course, the greatest wealth increase in world history, with seventy-five percent of the world’s wealth belonging to the top ten percent.
PMCs (private military companies) were becoming mainstays in major U.S. and European cities, free-of-jurisdiction former mercenaries or police military soldiers supplied by the major arms manufacturers (such as Stripe Industries) and retired U.S. military operatives.
Two months before the ‘Call to Arms’ event on April 13th, a revolutionary and wealthy PMC is established by dozens of donors and future war profiteers. The company was ARKANGEL and immediately began sending dozens of soldiers to assist in the Southern U.S. invasion of Mexico. Drone strikes targeted cartel strongholds and civilian towns alike. The Mexican government (crumbling apart from corruption and lack of assistance) was hopeless to stop the Arkangel forces from conducting swift military-like raids on cartel-ran cities, murdering hundreds, ravaging the economic and environmental stability of Mexico and Central America and displacing thousands of innocents over the next few years.
On June 1st, 2018, the Fed (or Federal Reserve System) had their biggest public meeting in which they revealed their plans for the financial future of the country and the biggest economies on Earth. The Fed (America’s privatized central bank that inherently controls the flow and supply of money through ethically-challenging rates and inflation creation) announced that the country and soon, the world at large, was in an extended depression after their attempts to raise interest rates to block market speculation failed. Worldwide, but mostly in the Eastern side of the world, economies flatline and a certain fearful and angry tension could be felt in the air.
After the worldwide stock market crashed due to decades of fiat currency and lack of any true value, hundreds of companies filed for bankruptcy, laid off employees, or simply closed up overnight. Tens of millions worldwide lost their jobs and with fears over total social collapse, riots broke out in the ten major cities. Several large gatherings saw Washington D.C. overrun with protestors from all backgrounds. The biggest of which would be known in history as FIREHILL DAY… AUGUST 11th, 2018.

Within weeks of the Fed announcement, struggling regimes of power in South America and Africa begin warring over resources as many world currencies becomes worthless. Currencies became fluid as war alliances were made over the course of two hellish months, with countries like Iran, China, Russia and Saudi Arabia signing monumental trade agreements— the nations would trade respective currencies, specifically oil. This history-making deal ended the United States’ corporate foothold on the oil market, sending the suffering country into financial freefall. Jobs are lost. Homes are lost. And there is no sign of hope. America’s enemies seize the moment.
China cripples Taiwan (center of computer chip manufacturing) on August 7th as the major military powers begin investing heavily in drone technology for the ongoing Eurasian Conflict. Several carefully planned missile strikes on the electrical grid allow China to hold Taiwan hostage as it cuts off all manufacturing trades with other countries. The shocking and very abrupt takeover is seen as an act of war against NATO (whose militaries rely heavily on Taiwan-supplied computer chips).
The next day, August 8th, the nations under the China-Russia agreement create the United Eastern Nations Organization (UEN, for short).

On August 11th, 2018, mass gatherings centered near America’s seat of power reach their destinations. Over one hundred and twenty-six thousand people swell the streets near the White House and the Capitol in two giant crowds that the D.C. police, National Guard, and the watching world have greatly underestimated. A domestic terrorist attack is performed on the Capitol Building by several Slashers (a cult that honored the ‘Savior of Shermanville‘ from the horrifying “Slasher Night” that occurred in Shermanville, Ohio in 2008) that covered half of the west wing in flames. Fourteen people inside the building died of smoke inhalation when the fire department failed to find a way through the people-filled streets of angry Americans. Across the city, riots and lootings break out with government security killing thirty-five people in a group of protesters at the White House. Mass arrests were attempted as law enforcement was overrun on the hottest day of the year and when the flames died out that evening, more than two hundred people would be dead and Washington D.C. left as a partial warzone near the Capitol.
Advanced riot dispersal technology pioneered by Stripe Industries (a military weapons manufacturing company with ties to most NATO-backed countries with an annual revenue of four-hundred billion dollars) ends the riots the following day with National Guard and PMC security experts airdropping three sound cannons that allow for harmful but nonlethal blasts of deafening sounds to rid the streets of looters and protesters.
The media frenzy following was rampant with controlling interest groups trying to spin the events as the result of one political party’s inspiration while a reporter from the New York City-centered GO News went off script to reveal footage from ‘Firehill Day’ showing military-style men in tactical gear conducting several planned explosions along street corners, deploying tear gas into crowds, and executing a shooting spree on fleeing protesters from a second-story hotel window.
The United States’ people was scared, confused, and broken.

In the early 1990s, the world’s leading oil companies came together to develop a new technology to detect oil reserves possibly untapped across the world, known as LIQ-LIDAR. While the Americas hosted a vast untapped supply, the companies’ researchers discovered an ocean of oil nearing 100 billion barrels and a trillion cubic feet of natural gas trapped under the icy Arctic Circle. Though unrecoverable with current technology, the researchers began realizing that due to mostly-corporate pollution, the Earth’s natural processes on global warming had sped up.
Ideas began to form.
Plans were put in place.
It would take a long time of advancement and a ‘logical’ reason to access the delicate Arctic Circle.
Luckily, in late 2018, research teams hired by the W.H.O. found trace evidence of an aggressive bacteria that raged over the Earth’s mammal population fifty-thousand years earlier. Several companies join forces to create a specialized laser drill (sanctioned carefully to “never be used as a weapon of war”) to carefully extract the organism from the deep, ancient ice. The main W.H.O. team cracked into the large glacier in upper Siberia and collected live samples of the dangerous micro-organism, dubbed by the scientific community as MAMMOTH.
With MAMMOTH promising to be a worthy contender against the Locust Plague, desperate efforts are made through gene-sequencing to control the micro-organism to destroy humanity’s greatest threat. But how long can an ancient organism stay under control? How much destruction did it cause fifty-thousand years ago? Time would tell. And by the end of the war, MAMMOTH would help cause a biological disaster that would decimate the landscape and nearly usher in a rushed heating period that threatened to drown half of the world’s population. These events would lead to a humanitarian crisis in the Eastern Hemisphere that would take decades to fully heal.

In the late 1990’s, the U.S. military began investing technologies related to wartime drone units that could operate in the field indefinitely by gaining energy through the biomass of the area. Plant matter, trash, and possibly dead bodies left on a hypothetical battlefield. This top-secret ten billion dollar project was dubbed, in a humorous attempt at wordplay of the word ‘devour’ as the DEV-R program. Although some progress was made on the energy-gathering apparatus and possible terrain variations, the project was discontinued soon after the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001 in New York City.
In early 2018, the DEV-R project was reinstated.
Before deployment in the Ukrainian battlefields (mostly cities and small towns due to resource hording by all sides of war) in late 2019, the DEV-R units undergo a PR-induced name change, a name without an acronym: the PEDAL.

In the modern age of electrical vehicles, thermonuclear weapons, phones and other lithium-required devices, the gray and striped but otherwise unremarkable mineral slowly became one of the main resources for modern civilization and all its necessary tools. Lithium deposits are plenty across the world but most are guarded by some of the world’s most powerful militaries.
At the curtain rise of the world war, the country of Mexico was ravaged by revolution. Decades upon decades of intense corruption through the drug cartels, United States agents in cooperation with smuggling, and worldwide corporate ravaging finally dethroned the government and left it as a undetermined fiefdom controlled by dozens of separate groups.
And the vast deposits within it valued at six-hundred billion dollars were dangerously unprotected.
So, in 2018, as Arkangel assisted Border Patrol agents, US Army and National Guard soldiers, invaded Mexico under pretense of ending terrorist activity caused by the warring drug cartels, the remaining lithium deposits became strongholds for U.S. forces and the most heavily-guarded locations on Earth. By the war’s end and the eventual integration of Mexico as the largest U.S. territory in the year 2025, the lithium deposit center would make the war-rattled country of refugees, soldiers, and wreckage a technological haven for innovation.

All of these events collided to create the perfect recipe for a new Armageddon, bringing the world to the brink of apocalypse on a level not seen since World War II. By its harrowing end, World War III would ultimately take the lives of four-hundred million people, becoming the bloodiest conflict in human history, with no other event coming close.
Greed.
Injustice.
Battles.
Politics.
Millions of bodies.
Cities wiped off the face of the Earth.
Will another world war happen again?
Can the world survive a fourth world war?
Time will tell.
